The Molokai Holokai Ho’olaule’a is a 2-day festival on the island of Molokai hosted by Youth in Motion. The event’s lineup includes:

July 17-18
Entries will be live March 21st for all parts of the Ho’olaule’a.
Sign up for the different events and volunteer positions.

Friday 17th July 2026 Day 1 staging is at the Ice House at Kaunakakai Harbor for the finish of the Maui to Molokai from 11.30-2.30 pm

  • 8-1 pm Maui to Molokau Challenge
  • 9-11.45 am Beach Clean Up  – Molokai Ice House
  • 12:30pm First finishers arrive
  • 3-6 pm – Late registration for Day 2 Paddle Races at Paddlers Inn

 Saturday 18th July -Day 2 – – Molokai Community Health Center 

Times will be adjusted around the canoe regattas so we will be pushing to  go as late as we can to fit in with community and tides

Day 1 Event Schedule for both Maui and Molokai

Day 1 Mangrove Seed Contest on Molokai will be held at Kaunakakai Wharf and is put on by Sustainable Molokai, one of our community partners.

Those participating in the Mangrove Seed contest will need to sign up and register.

12:30-3:00pm Paddlers Arrive at Kaunakakai Harbor

9-11.45 am Harbor cleanup  – Molokai Ice House

3-6 pm – Late registration for Day 2 Paddle Races at Paddlers Inn

07:00 am 5K Holo Fun Run

09:00 am Sustainable Molokai Cleanup and Trash Art Event

Maui to Molokai 27 miles DT Fleming Beach Park to Kaunakakai 27 miles The International’/Global Course 16 miles racing across the globe in any local location – 16 miles.

Beach and Harbor Clean Up

Day 2

10 Miles

The Kamalo Run 10 miles, Beginner to intermediate course of 5 miles. The International Course 10 miles, Racing across the globe in any local location.

Holo Fun Run 1-5K and 10 miles

Where To Meet

Day 1 for the Maui to Molokai is TBA on Thursday 17th July 2026

On Molokai the Beach Clean up starts at 9am  on July 18th, and the meeting is at the pier

Day 2, we will be at the Molokai Community Health Center

Molokai Holo 5K Fun Run and the 10 mile Holo Fun Run
