The Molokai Holokai Ho’olaule’a is a 2-day festival on the island of Molokai hosted by Youth in Motion. The event’s lineup includes:

Entries will be live Jan 2024for all parts of the Ho’olaule’a.

Friday 19th July 2024 Day 1 staging is at the Ice House at Kaunakakai Harbor for the finish of the Maui to Molokai from 11.30-2.30 pm
- 9-11.45 am Mangrove Seed Contest – Molokai Ice House
- 3-6 pm – Late registration for Day 2 Paddle Races at Paddlers Inn
- 6.00-7.30 pm Skate Jam session is at Community Health Center
Saturday 20th July -Day 2 – – Molokai Community Health Center
The Ho’olaule’a is at the Molokai Community Health Center from Noon-7 pm
- 6.00-6.30 am, check-in for Holo Fun run at Ali’i Fishpond (Ka Honua Momona)
- 7 am start for the 5K and finishes at Molokai Community Health Center at around 8-9 am
- 7.20 am Start Keiki and Makua Fun Run 1K at Mowat Homestead to Health Center
- 9.00- 10.00 am – Beach Clean-up – Molokai Community Health Center
- 10.00am-Noon – Trash Art Contest. Molokai Community Health Center
- 10:30-11:30 am Checkin in Kamalo Wharf for Kamalo Downwind Paddle Race- all craft and distances
- Noon – First Start at Kamalo
- NOON- 7 pm – Ho’olaule’a Commences at Molokai Community Health Center
- 2-2:30 pm Checkin at Community Health Center for Keiki and Makua Paddle Race
- 3:00 pm Keiki and Makua Paddle Race Starts at Mowat Homestead

Day 1 Event Schedule for both Maui and Molokai
Day 1 Mangrove Seed Contest on Molokai will be held at Kaunakakai Wharf and is put on by Sustainable Molokai, one of our community partners.
Those participating in the Mangrove Seed contest will need to sign up and register.
