The Molokai Holokai Ho’olaule’a began in 2003 as Na Opio Hana Pa’a, a Celebration of Youth Opportunities. It involved a Maui to Molokai Challenge to bring ocean enthusiasts to Molokai. The event included community events and culminated in music and festivities at Malama Park. Over the years, the event evolved and adapted to community needs. However, Malama Park faced challenges and became unavailable. The hope is to bring Malama Park back as a venue for the event in the future.

Coming soon, registration for the following:

Molokai Holo 5 k fun run/walk

Skate Jam Session

Gorilla Ogo and Mangrove Seed Contest

Cultural Workshops

Words cannot express our deep-felt sympathy. We express our sincere condolences for what has happened with this fire. It has been a speechless few weeks with our hearts beating fast with all the daily news and social media posts of the tragedy. To those of our friends who have lost their homes, to our friends and family who barely escaped in time, and to those that we did not know but were friends of our friends and family who lost their lives, our prayers and love are with you. It's heartbreaking, and we apologize for not sending our love and aloha sooner. You have all been in our thoughts and prayers daily.

We are here to support as the sister island with healing prayers, comfort, love, hope, and anything else we can do. We know the road will be long, and we know hope and faith will help you to stay strong because you are strong.

We are thinking of you and sending this from Clare and Gordon and the ohana at Youth in Motion, Molokai Outdoors, Molokai Holokai, and the M2Molokai challenge.

M2M - Maui to Molokai race was special. 90 foilers, 44 wingers. I placed 5th. What a feeling it was to cross that finish line in such challenging and technical conditions…amazing!
